A 6-year-old Colorado boy named Falcon Heene was accidentally carried away alone Thursday morning by an experimental aircraft that may take him as high as 10,000 feet. Scroll down for video

UPDATE: the balloon landed successfully and is found empty, Falcon Heene is not inside it. Police are investigating whether the boy may have fallen out before landing. Story developing... A Sheriff's Office spokeswoman tells CNN it was unlikely Falcon fell out.

"The basket itself was not breached. It does not look like he fell out of it -- but again this is all conjecture," she said. "I'm very confident we will find him. I think it's a matter of him being a little scared maybe he's not ready to be found."
